Draft NEP 2016

In year 1986 our National Education Policy was established and further modified in year 1992. Since then so many amendments happened but surprisingly not enough to meet the quantum of Global Education System. Our basic education policy is still lacking skill-development and continuum with higher education. We all have experienced a level of differences in our elementary, secondary and professional education structure without symmetrical analogies[national level]. In May-June,2016 a Committee for the evaluation of National Education Policy has submitted the report to MHRD having their recommendations as a Draft.

Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said on Monday that the much awaited National Education Policy's "zero draft" is ready and will be implemented by the end of 2018. source: Indian Express | 18th June 2018
